A rare gem found not too far from home. Always driven past but never went in before. This will now be my to go to place as the food was amazing. The whole family agreed this was the best take out by far this year. Give it a go.

Great cosy place. Easy parking and access. Staff were attentive, food was served fast. Food portions were big and taste was good. Overall value for money. Would recommend.

Visited as result of a good YT review. Solid menu with both Malaysian and Chinese options. A few other diners but not particularly busy - was mid week though. Service casual but attentive. Wait was longer than I would have expected given that there were maybe only 3 other tables of diners. When the food arrived it was large portions and smelt great. Lots of flavour and very fresh. Prices quite reasonable. We over ordered and got containers to ta the left overs. Worth a return visit for sure.

Mama Malaya was recommended to me by a Malaysian friend. Dropped in with the family for dinner the other day. Good authentic Malaysian cuisine. Highly recommend you give it a try.

We went here for the 27th. We were glad that this place was open. The owner was extremely passionate and friendly. The food was very authentic and the staff were great. The food was just a little too salty however so it made us buy a lot of tea. The atmosphere was good until the end, we don't know why, but the owners smile dropped. She got less friendly and I don't know if it's because she was upset we didn't tip more, or because we criticised the food, or some other reason. Either way, it's good for us to know of this nice little Malaysian diner whenever we want some affordable, hearty chow.
